We are pleased to announce that the first lecture took place in the Great Hall at Barts this week. The lecture was aimed at practising nurses and was on the subject of pressure ulcer prevention, very much at the heart of Pam Hibbs work.
Carole Taylor was at the event and made the following comments on our Facebook group (she has agreed to this being shared)
“Felt so honoured today to be invited back to Barts where I did my nurse training 41 years ago. In the Great Hall at the Pam Hibbs inaugural lecture, sharing our work done on pressure ulcer prevention during the pandemic. It was extra special catching up with my tutor Carol Bavin who helped me be the nurse I am today.”
Another comment “Fantastic! I feel so proud to call myself a Barts nurse!”
