Our friends at Barts Heritage have just announced the latest specialist to be employed on their restoration project – Pip the cocker spaniel!
Pip was drafted in to help identify dry rot in the roof of the north wing. His special sense of smell can be very handy helping identify the fungal spores which cause the problem as can be seen in this news clip.
