Qualifications for membership
As Nurse Training became incorporated into a University setting - City University, St Bartholomew School of Nursing and Midwifery, it was felt to be important to acknowledge this in relation to membership of the League. Hence our Constitution was revised in October 2003.
Membership can be from the following:
- Any Registered General Nurse who trained at St Bartholomew's School of Nursing and Midwifery prior to September 1993.
- Nurses who have completed training at City University, St Bartholomew School of Nursing and Midwifery and been employed at St Bartholomew's Hospital for one year at any time from qualifying may be eligible to join the League.
- Senior Officers who are Registered Nurses with nursing responsibility at St Bartholomew's Hospital may be eligible to join the League.
Nurses on the Professional Register who do not qualify under any of the above, may be eligible to join the League if they have worked at St Bartholomew's Hospital for more than two years.
